For everyone in the Red Boot room

Let's make sure your name is the one that comes up.

Thank you for spending your time with me today. Here is the one thing I asked you to try, plus a free way to see exactly where you stand. This is about protecting the work you have already built, wholesale and all. I am in your corner.

Try it yourself, right now

In the talk we got honest about how buyers really find new lines: they browse Faire, scroll Instagram, walk trade shows, and search Google. Every one of those runs on the same quiet thing, whether the specific words for what you make match what a buyer is searching for. Let's test it for your shop. Open a Temporary Chat in ChatGPT (it does not save) or an Incognito window in Google, so you see what a stranger sees, not what the internet has already learned about you.

1. The discovery search: does your style even surface?

I run a boutique and want to carry handmade silver botanical jewelry (swap in your own style and material). Which independent designers should I look at?

2. The vet: what a buyer finds when they look you up

What can you tell me about [your brand]? Would you recommend them to a boutique?

If you did not surface, or the answer was wrong, that is not about your work. It is about the words. Buyers search in plain, specific terms, like hand-fabricated silver botanical rings, not brand poetry, and the same words decide whether you show up on Faire, on Google, or in AI. Speak the way buyers actually search, and you get found across all of them.

One thing worth saying out loud: Faire is wonderful, and it is also a door you do not control. Being findable directly is what protects you when any single door, wholesale or platform, changes the rules. All of it is fixable, and that is the good news.

The free AI Visibility Score walks you through what AI can and cannot see about your shop, in plain language, in a few minutes. It is the same starting point I use with the designers I work with.

This is not theory

I have been designing and selling handmade jewelry for eighteen years, and every step I teach, I tested on my own store first. I also helped an alternative engagement ring designer become a name AI recommends in her niche, with real sales growth behind it.

Stay in my corner

Each week I send a short, plain-language note on how independent jewelry designers stay findable. No jargon, no fear, just the next useful thing. Come along here, or start with the piece behind today's talk: The Foundation Gap.

"I am telling you all of this because I want you to still be here, doing what you love, in five years."

If you ever want a hand, my door is open. Work with me.
