Your Jewelry Deserves to Be Found

The way people find jewelry is changing, and it is happening faster than most designers realize.

It used to work like this: someone searched Google, clicked on a result, and landed on your website. That click was everything. But today, Google increasingly answers questions directly on the page without sending a click at all. And tools like ChatGPT are going a step further: when someone asks "where can I find a custom jeweler near me?" the AI picks a store and recommends it by name. No click. No browse. Just a recommendation. If your store is not part of that answer, the buyer never sees you.

This is not a future problem. It is happening now. And it affects every independent jewelry designer, whether you are on Squarespace, Shopify, or any other platform.

The reason most jewelry stores get skipped is not that the work is not good enough. It is that the website is not set up in a way these systems can understand. Your product descriptions might be beautiful to a human reader, but if AI cannot figure out what you sell, who it is for, and how it compares to alternatives, it will recommend someone else.

The buyers most likely to use AI to research jewelry are the same buyers you most want walking through your door. Households earning $100K or more use AI tools at a rate of 74%, compared to 53% for households under $50K. These are the buyers with the budget for fine and custom work, and they are increasingly starting their search with ChatGPT, not Google. The fact that you may not personally use AI this way is not evidence your customers do not. They are not you. They are 30 to 45 year old professionals who live on these tools, and they are deciding which jeweler to consider before they ever pick up the phone or walk into a store.

And if AI is already mentioning your brand, the next question matters just as much: is it describing your work accurately? Is it recommending you every time, or only when the question is worded a certain way? A buyer who shows up because ChatGPT sent them, but whose expectations were shaped by an inaccurate description of your work, is not a sale. That is a customer service problem.

Who I Am and Why This Is Different

I am Andrea Li. I have been designing and selling handcrafted gemstone jewelry for 18 years. Every strategy I offer you, I tested on my own store first. I am not handing you a generic marketing playbook. I am showing you what actually works for independent jewelry designers, whether you sell one-of-a-kind pieces, made-to-order work, or small production runs, because I run the same kind of business you do.

18 years in the jewelry industry.

I design and sell handcrafted gemstone jewelry at andreali.com. I understand how independent jewelry businesses work: the seasonal rhythms, the price sensitivity, the way customers buy fine and handcrafted jewelry, and the specific challenges of selling one-of-a-kind, made-to-order, or small production pieces. When I talk about your business, I am not guessing.

Everything is battle-tested first.

Every strategy, tool, and framework I offer clients, I built and tested on my own store before it ever reached yours. When I tell you something works, it is because I watched it work.

Real results, documented publicly.

My own store scored 6.5/10 from ChatGPT for AI visibility. That score became the catalyst for the entire methodology I now teach. Read the case study →

If You Have Never Done This Before, Start Here

Sarah Pauli is a handcrafted gemstone jewelry designer based in Sedona, Arizona. Beautiful work, stunning photography, a clear brand voice. But her product pages were invisible to AI. When we ran our readiness audit, her pages scored 3 out of 16. AI could not parse what metal, what stone, what dimensions, or what care instructions applied to any of her pieces. All of her expertise and quality were completely hidden from the systems that shoppers are using to decide which jeweler to consider.

In her words: "I have been looking for help with this process, but was not sure where to turn." She knew her pages needed work. She could feel the gap between the quality of her pieces and how they showed up online. She just needed someone who could show her what "AI-ready" actually looks like for her business, and then do it for her.

We optimized 10 of her product pages. Every one went from a score of 3 out of 16 to a perfect 16 out of 16, with zero validation errors. Her response after seeing the first updated page:

"I just looked at one of the updated products! Wow! It reads so well! And it feels like a very confident voice. Thank you so much."

Sarah Pauli, handcrafted gemstone jewelry designer, Sedona AZ

She immediately asked about optimizing the rest of her catalog, setting up Google Search Console, and broader strategy. That is what happens when you see the difference on one page. The rest of your catalog becomes impossible to ignore.

If that sounds familiar, start with one page. Pick the product that matters most to your business. I will rebuild it so AI can actually read it, recommend it, and describe it accurately. You will see the difference side by side. Then you can decide if you want to do more.

Two Ways I Can Help

Most designers land in one of two places. Either your product pages need to work harder, or you need to understand what is going on across your entire site before deciding what to fix. Here is how to tell which track is right for you:

If you already know your product pages are the problem and you want to fix them, keep reading below. You have already seen the $97 single page option. Here is the full product page lineup.

If you are not sure what is wrong and want a professional diagnosis of your whole site before spending money on fixes, skip to the site-wide audit section.

Fix Your Product Pages

At some point, every designer looks at their product pages through fresh eyes and realizes they are not doing the work justice. Maybe you just saw a competitor show up in a ChatGPT recommendation and wondered why you did not. Or maybe you optimized one page and it clicked: "Oh. That is what it is supposed to look like. The rest of my catalog does not look like that."

Whatever brought you here, the gap is the same. Your product pages look great to humans. But AI tools like ChatGPT and Google cannot understand them well enough to recommend your work. The descriptions are too short for AI to pull a useful quote from. There is no comparison information. There is no FAQ section answering real buyer questions. And the invisible code behind the page is either missing or bare-minimum.

Every tier works on Squarespace, Shopify, or Wix. This is not custom development. I can implement on any of these platforms.

Your product pages are optimized. Now how do you know if it is working?

Track What Is Working

Optimizing your product pages is step one. Knowing whether it is working is step two. Google Search Console shows you exactly how people are finding your site: which pages are getting clicks, what search terms are bringing visitors, and where your biggest opportunities are. Most jewelry designers I work with do not have it set up at all. That means Google is collecting data about your site right now, and you cannot see any of it.

I set it up for you, connect it to my monitoring tools, and send you a plain-English weekly report. No spreadsheets, no jargon, no dashboards you need to learn. Just a clear summary of what is happening with your search visibility and what to do about it.

Google Search Console Setup

$150

One-time setup

I create your Google Search Console property, verify your site, submit your sitemap, request indexing for your priority pages, and walk you through the dashboard so you understand what you are looking at. If you already have GSC, I connect to your existing property and audit the setup. This is the foundation for everything else.

Best for: Any designer who does not have Google Search Console set up yet, or who set it up once and never looked at it again.

Your product pages are optimized. Your data is flowing. But can AI actually navigate between your collections?

Connect Your Collections

Here is something most designers do not realize: your collection pages might look great to visitors, but AI crawlers often cannot navigate them at all. Many jewelry sites organize collections using filtered pages. They work beautifully for humans. But when an AI system tries to follow the link, it hits a dead end because the filtering runs on JavaScript, and crawlers do not run JavaScript.

Think of it this way: your product pages are beautifully furnished rooms. But there are no hallways connecting them. AI lands on your site and has no way to move from one collection to the next.

We fix this by replacing each filtered collection page with a real content page that looks identical to your visitors but gives AI a structured path to every product. Each collection gets its own URL, its own content, its own FAQ section, and its own behind-the-scenes code. Your navigation does not change. Your visitors see the same thing. But now AI can actually navigate your catalog.

Diagnose Your Whole Site

If you are not sure whether product pages are the main problem, or if you suspect there are bigger issues across your entire site, start here instead. These services look at everything: how your site is built, whether AI tools can access it, how your content is organized, and whether you are set up for the next wave of AI-powered shopping.

This is also important if AI is already recommending you. The question is not just "am I visible?" It is "is my visibility accurate and built to last?" A recommendation based on incomplete information can disappear the moment a competitor sets up their site better, or it can persist while describing your work inaccurately. Either way, it costs you.

Readiness Audit

$37

You answer 18 questions about your store. You get back a readiness score out of 100 across 6 areas, your top 3 priority fixes ranked by impact, and a week-by-week action plan built for your specific platform. Under 10 minutes. No jargon. This is the quickest way to find out where you stand.

Best for: Designers who want a clear, honest read on where they stand before investing in anything bigger.

The Full Transformation

Post-Click Growth Architecture™

This is not a productized service. It is a partnership.

The Post-Click Growth Architecture is for established jewelry brands that know their website is not doing their work justice. They might be getting traffic from referrals, social media, or word of mouth, but AI is not recommending them and organic search traffic is flat. The problem is usually both: the site does not have enough depth for AI to understand what the brand actually specializes in, and the pages that do exist are not set up to educate shoppers and build trust before they reach a product page. The product page's job is to close the sale. But that falls apart when everything before it is missing.

This is how I worked with Bohemi. We rebuilt their entire site around their buyers: educational content that helped shoppers understand their options, guides that established Bohemi as the go-to authority on alternative engagement rings, interactive tools that let buyers explore styles, and a site structure that connected everything so both humans and AI could follow the journey from curiosity to purchase.

What this engagement looks like

I look at your entire site, build a strategy around your buyers, and implement the changes with you. That includes educational content, buyer guides, interactive tools, a site structure that connects everything logically, the invisible code that helps AI understand your brand, and ongoing refinement as we see what is working. The scope and timeline depend on your catalog size, your platform, and your goals.

Platforms: We build and implement directly on Squarespace, Shopify, Wix, and WordPress. Andrea leads the strategy. Kris and his team handle all technical implementation. You get a complete build on your platform, not a plan you have to hand off to someone else.

How to start

Fill out the intake form. It takes about 15 minutes and helps me understand your business, your site, and what you are trying to accomplish.

I review your submission and evaluate fit. Not every project is the right project, and I would rather tell you that upfront than waste your time.

If it is a good fit, I book a strategy call where we scope the engagement together.

This level of work is custom-priced based on your project scope. Past engagements have ranged from $12K to $16K.

Questions I Hear Often

What if I do not know which service I need?

Start with the free AI Visibility Score. It takes 2 minutes and gives you a clear picture of where you stand. From there, the $37 Readiness Audit gives you a scored diagnosis with specific next steps. Or use the quiz and decision table above to match where you are to the right starting point.

I am on Shopify, not Squarespace. Can you still help?

Yes, at every tier. For product page optimization ($97 to $997), I implement directly on Squarespace, Shopify, or Wix. Product page work means updating your descriptions, adding comparison tables and FAQ sections, and installing the invisible code that helps AI understand your products. It does not require custom development, so I can do it on any of these platforms. For the audits, all findings are specific to your platform. For the Post-Click Growth Architecture (full site rebuild), we build and implement directly on your platform, whether that is Squarespace, Shopify, Wix, or WordPress. Andrea leads the strategy and Kris handles all technical implementation. You do not need a separate web person.

I have tried SEO before and it did not work. How is this different?

The entire field is changing right now. The old approach of picking keywords, chasing rankings, and measuring success by how many people clicked on your website is becoming less relevant every month. AI tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI features are not sending clicks. They are reading your site, deciding whether to recommend you, and giving buyers the answer directly. The question is no longer "did I rank on page one?" It is "did the AI understand what I sell well enough to recommend me to the right buyer?" Most marketing advice is still built for the old game. On top of that, generic strategies are especially wrong for independent jewelry designers. I test everything on my own jewelry store first, so the strategies I offer are designed for how search actually works now and how small jewelry businesses actually operate.

How long before I see results?

Product page rebuilds are delivered within 24-48 hours (single) or 5 business days (catalog). The Full Audit is delivered within 5 business days. After changes are implemented on your site, Google typically starts reflecting them within 4-8 weeks, depending on how quickly it re-reads your pages. AI tools like ChatGPT tend to pick up changes faster because they update their information more frequently.

What if I just want someone to tell me what to do, and I will do it myself?

The Full Audit at $597 is designed exactly for that. You get a clear PDF with every problem identified, every fix explained in plain language, and a 90-day priority list telling you what to tackle first. Many designers hand this to their web person or work through it step by step on their own.

Is the $37 Readiness Audit a self-assessment or do you run it?

You run it. You answer 18 questions about your store and the system scores you automatically with personalized recommendations. It takes under 10 minutes. If you want me to run the assessment instead, the $97 Visibility Snapshot is the professional version.

What is Google Search Console and do I need it?

Google Search Console is a free tool from Google that shows you how your site appears in search results. It tells you which pages are getting clicks, what search terms people use to find you, and whether Google has any trouble reading your site. You need it because without it, you have no way to know whether your optimization is working. I set it up for you and send weekly reports in plain English.

Why would I need collection page optimization if my product pages are already done?

Product page optimization makes individual pages readable by AI. But if your collections are built with filtered pages (which is how most Squarespace and Shopify sites work by default), AI crawlers cannot navigate between them. Your product pages are optimized islands with no bridge connecting them. Collection architecture creates those bridges so AI can discover your full catalog, not just the pages it happens to find one at a time.
